It`s just a marketing gimmick to make sales from a silly naming contest for this new weapon. A competition that is very badly shifted. Hi Point makes weapons that work as they should. They kill the right person. As far as I know, they were never recalled.
Remington, Sig Sauer, Taurus, Glock and others have all had recalls. Some of their guns killed their owners. And other companies have a lot more money for quality control than Hi Point. Their barrels are big and ugly because the alloy they use in their casting is zamak-3, which is not as dense as steel.
